Drive TrainWith defensive actions being very limited in the Recycle Rush game, the Team has chosen to employ a simple tank drive system with four dually Omni wheels. We believe that this will let drive team have the greatest control over the different terrains and weight loads.
Tote & Recycle Bin StackerAfter many prototype evaluations, this simple method proved to be the best. The robot can quickly capture and stack six Totes with a Recycle Bin on top.
AutonomousDuring autonomous period our robot is designed to capture two of the Recycle Bins so that they are available to stack on Totes later in the game.
Tote Reset DeviceThe intake system on our robot requires the Tote to be upright, if is not then we can use this nifty mechanism to position the Tote so that is becomes upright.
